Onstream Media Signs Contract to Provide California
Board of Equalization with Webcasting Services Onstream to Produce Virtual Events for BOE Board Meetings POMPANO BEACH, FL – August 8, 2013 - Onstream Media Corporation (OTCQB: ONSM) a leading online service provider of corporate audio and web communications, today announced that it has signed a 12-month agreement, valued at up to $275,000, with the State of California Board of Equalization (BOE). Under the agreement, Onstream Media will provide the agency with live and on-demand webcasting services for Board meetings in Sacramento, Culver City and other locations throughout the state. As a State of California CMAS-certified vendor, Onstream Media participated in an extensive RFO process to assess its platform, delivery and service provision. Onstream was chosen based on its reliability, scalability, professionalism and 15-year track record with thousands of companies and government agencies. Onstream will provide live webcasting services for all official BOE Board Meetings, which occur two to three times per month. Onstream will also provide a full host of services, including video and audio production, encoding, interactive webcast features and reporting. The California BOE is a public agency charged with tax administration and fee collection. The BOE is responsible for four broad areas: sales and use taxes, property taxes, special taxes and the tax appellate program. Each BOE webcast is open to public as well as to all BOE office employees, with approximately 1000 participants per webcast. All events will be available via computer browsers and mobile browsers.
